Sounded down and out, nearly had to reach for the Prozac when I got home. Disappointed by a comment he made in that the fans had been spoilt! He really needed to apologise to the fans and offer them a refund. Yes, the wind was to blame for much of the game but we played like goldfish with no memory in that we kept playing the ball in the air with no outcome, Podge had no service and was snuffed out of the game by our tactics and by their dominant centre backs.

Another comment Hurst made was, "the idea was to win the league" which came across without any focus or passion.

I do hope Hurst is a winner and not just a runner-up.........

He always sounds like that, I just don't see that he has the drive to win the league.

Short people are usually fiery but PH is more like Papa Smurf than an angry dwarf.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.

I am afraid so! The last thing we need is for the old divisions to appear. Even PH must acknowledge it is now the play-offs (at best). A very strange feeling with a third of the season to go.

I am a fan of Hurst, but I've never heard him come out and just say, we wasn't good enough...

Not so strange as it happens every season.

Heard the interview and couldn't quite believe he had said the fans have been spoilt.
Even if he thinks that(?) a very odd quote to make after a 0-0 home result.

Very negative all round and JT wasn't exactly dynamic and PH got a very easy ride.

Well JT has dared to ask probing questions before, or raise critical points and Hurst has got very arsey, meaning Tondeur hasn't got the nuts to do it anymore. Poor all round really.
