Expected, they don't throw youngsters in, they was never going to drop Artus completely so no place for Thanoj. I don't agree with it but dosn't surprise me.

Colbeck, Tap in from 5 yards.

Think it was Cook who nodded it onto someone else (Hannah or Nielson I think) who's headed was saved but only pushed out to colbeck who tapped it.

Tuned in just after the goal but haven't seen too much sext football from Town.
Seems like barcelona type possession from Luton without the end product, and a solid Town defence.
Then Cook smashes in. Game 10 ........mmmm now theres a coincidence

My God, this team look like they can challenge this season! We needed a left midfielder and a striker, we couldn't have asked for better in Neilson and Hannah. Hope we can keep these two and we keep this up because we look completely fearless.

Interesting comments from AB at half time. "I do admire the way Luton play the game". Mmmmmm
Look attractive achieve little. Now that rings a bell.

Class so far. They had a 10 minute spell but apart from that we've been well in control.
I hope they keep it up 2nd half.

I tuned in when we were 1-0 up and Luton had that spell of pressure. McKeown made that good save. Didn't think at that point that it would be 3-0 at half time!

If we can stuff Luton and beat mansfield, FGR etc, why can't we take Southport, Nuneaton, Kiddy, Barrrow et al?
Posted by: topuphere666, September 21, 2012, 9:38pm; Reply: 48
Thing is, teams like Luton and Mansfield come to BP to play football and get a result which in turn suits our playing style as its a free flowing open game, teams such as Barrow will park the bus with 11 players behind the ball. As soon as we learn to break teams like this town we will have a decent chance of going up.

Great performance, grit, determination, quality defending and at last some attacking nouce! Good debuts from the new lads, looking forward to seeing Ross Hannah fully match fit, could have found ourselves a little gem. Reminds me of Michael Boulding a bit.

Well done lads!

Very happy with that, especially when it got to 87mins, I felt confident of the win (I know that our defence is different this year but still panic unless we are 7-0 up). Thomas was superb tonight but no one played badly.

Thomas and James Mck.  were sublime one of the best performances by a Town team on TV for ages. Well done boys!

Managed to catch the match live on tv - quality performance by all of the players - clinical up front - could have been 8 - 3 from chances - Luton had theirs and McKeown kept us in it when it mattered - thought their player elbowed our defender prior to the 1st shot, but never mind - what a result !!

Cook breaks his duck, now he will get some service - how quick and pacey they all were tonight, and magnificent chasing, harrying and blocking!

I said 7 from 9 points tongue in cheek this week,.... Mmmmm,.... why not 9 out of 9 in this form??

Brilliant night for the town !!

Bit of an unsung hero tonight but i thought Derick Niven put in a real shift infront of the back four, kept Lutons attackers stiffled, whilst playing short simple passes. Everyone played well but thought he deserved a mention as you dont always notice him.

I agree entirely. Thought he played very well. He breaks up the opposition very effectively and thought his distribution was good tonight also. Both him and Thomas were outstanding

Great performance for the team. Everyone played well but Niven & Thomas were the stand outs for me. The new lads seamlessly slotted into the team tonight and played their part in a brilliant win. If we can keep this up we could be in for a good season.
