I feel a bit more positive now I know you're nowhere near Blundell Park  ;)

You're dead right. Two games, two defeats this season. I'm a jinx! The sacrifices I make for this club, taking myself well away from my beloved Blundell Park.

Neilson in for Colbeck, Dizza on the bench, otherwise unchanged team.

Astonishing that LJL should start with no place for Hearn, again. At home.

Isnt it hearn vs hannah and cook vs ljl if ph insists on a target man

Well the argument between Cook & LJL isn't even worth having. Both do the same job, one without goals and one with goals. It's an absolute no brainer.

Personally LJL puts himself about but I would pick Cookie.   Unfortunately LJL preseason form has given him the nod.  As for Hearn im absolutely gobsmacked I understand you have to earn your place in the team and I don't see how things go in training but him and hannah are the closest we have to a 20 goal season man.  Someyhing definitely doesnt add up.

Grimsby and Wrexham suffering from playoff heartbreak.  I cant see PH lasting long if we lose this and our next home game.  Time will tell.

Not remotely true, LJL holds the ball up a lot better than Cook and wins a lot more in the air.

I dont like these quick freekicks I think it gives an unfair advantage if a player whispers to the ref can I take it how the hell are the opposition meant to know when the ref is ready.  Not fair.  I suppose they should get organised quicker.

Excellent result against a rubbish team. No decent teams in this league and we may well be one of the 6 least rubbish again.

He played really well and was a lot of peoples MOM.

No it was more of a shock  ;D

Always like to see a Grimsby player do well but will continue to maintain Cookie & Hearn shouldn't be on the bench. Happy with tonight, wierdly still sounded like there were holes in it but 4-4-2 clearly works.

Yeah, there were a few holes and we could and maybe should have been 2 down before we scored. Their No8 was very good and played a cracking ball inside the full back for their forward to score a good finish. They then had another good chance but the ball was hit straight at Macca to save.

Once we got a couple of goals though, the confidence started running through the team. Their second was a joke, so they never really threatened us too much.

The Shop was excellent tonight and his all round game is better than Cook's. With Lenny alongside them Hannah and Hearn will score a lot of goals.

Agreed though I would bet that Cook would have scored from our many corner kicks-----he always does :)

After all the negative comments, including a number from myself, I just wanted to comment on the apparent team spirit particularly after the Halifax result. It was noticeable just before kick off, repeated just before the second half, that Hearn in particular and all the other subs went round fist pumping and embracing colleagues wishing them well.

I think a number of us sensed this spirit was not there during pre season and in that first home game v Aldershot but it looked pretty evident last night and was possibly a positive factor in an enjoyable performance

Are you saying play all 3 together? If so how would you accommodate them 433 with one either side of Lenny or 442 with one as a winger?

I'm a big fan of Neilson so personally I'd have only one of the two starting.
