We're still in this one, but I think we need Neilson and Shop on if we're to change things.

I think the ability is there with Cook, but not the application or desire. If he had LJL's determination he'd be a great player at this level.

He's right though. Cook has lost his confidence and isn't good enough. Shouldn't have started.

Neilson must play every game for me, hes our biggest threat ( if fit)

The crowd sound very negative, berating any pass that goes backwards! Obviously I'm not there and we're not playing well but I know what a bad half of football looks like. We're 14 unbeaten, it's not as if this is dished up every week. If we're going to get back into this game the crowd has a responsibility to try and get behind the team!

Half time 0-2, poor first half from Town.  On the positive side we could have been 4 or 5 down!

Be suprised if we see Cook and Colbeck appear in the 2nd half, need to put this half behind us and come out guns blazing for the 2nd half.

Game isn't lost, just decided to give Macc a head start!

Non performance from some of the squad players will give PH ammo to go to fenty and ask for signings when the window opens . Wtf does cook get a start over Southwell on recent performances , even if him and Hannah are similar players . Cooks on his bottom at the minute and should be loaned out ASAP as he's a waste of time and space .

After getting back into it at 2-2 that performance isn't really good enough; we should have had the momentum. :-/ Not something you expect from this team, was like listening to most games circa 2006-2011.

Just need to get our lot rested up ready for NYD, there'll be no excuses for not gettind 3 points.

They got a few injuries today but I'm more worried about today.  2 new players in January a midfielder and a striker please.  I'm not sure who should have played today lack of football doesnt help the players coming in.

My only real complaint today was taking Hannah off too early. Southall's grabbed a couple of late goals so stick him on with 5 minutes left. Hannah will always feed better off LJL than Southall. Cook...well, he's the first one I'd replace in January.

This should be our mantra, we would alway lose eventually, the important thing is to make today a one off!  Annoying end to the year but an ideal game to kick off the new one on Wednesday!  UTM

I'm afraid I had a bad feeling about today but I'm kind of optimistic that it may confirm in PH's mind (already in mine) that we are not QUITE good enough despite our good performances recently. Definitely short of a little bit of quality but nothing that cannot be remedied with a couple of astute signings in the new year. A blessing in disguise from my point of view. UTM!

I don't think there was too much tinkering. Kerr's absence was forced and we did miss him. Playing Cook did not pan out and he has lost his touch but resting players over this period makes sense. I have a feeling Neilson is carrying an injury, even when he starts he has only been playing 75 mins or so. Anyway, Colbeck should be quite capable of doing a job. Fact is too many players were below par and nothing to do with selection.

Neilson's only injury is an over active thyroid I reckon.

Only just had the chance to post!!!! Think Ph got his selection wrong he had an eye on up coming games and didn't give Mac enough respect we should of started with Nielson & LJL as the game your in is the most important game especially when you have your tails up good teams play loads of games and just keep going !!To me you get your business done then take players off ........i fail to see what Rodman brings to the team he as no work ethic and the heart of a nat very disappointed with his performances. :-/

The run we have been on as been great and had to finish at some point we have a great chance on new years day to start another one against the imps early goal and we could hit 4 or 5  :) :) :)
