The mouth waters a creative player like thanoj straight in with Jennings. Looking forward to some attacking intent! Hopefully from the off this time!

Somewhat bizarrely the game between strugglers Aldershot and Lincoln features two of the highest scorers in the Skrill; Tomlinson (15) and Shots player Wiliams [18].

Several good touches but no great service, one shot well saved by their keeper.

I'll tell you what's poor and embarrassing - our corners.

We might be winning but it sounds sh1te. Like we're waiting for something to happen - probably a Salisbury equaliser.

Jennings coming off.
Hannah replacing him.

Must be something like 1 corner in 20 that's decent, it's a very very poor part of our game.

Corners should be the bread and butter of a team.
FFS.. They should be practised time and time again during training sessions, and if  a certain player can`t do the job, you change him for someone who can put the ball into the box.
It`s not rocket science... just basic football learnt at grass roots level.

Cambridge don't seem to have been affected (in fact possibly reignited) with getting through to Wembley
Posted by: RonMariner, March 1, 2014, 5:16pm; Reply: 56
Back on track. We just need to win two of the five games in hand and we are sitting pretty in the playoffs.

I think it will be us v Cambridge in the playoff final. Cambridge will 'do a Wrexham', i.e. win the Trophy and lose the playoff final.......
he said hopefully.

Hurray! Was seriously worried before today. With the other teams in playoffs having mixed results and a clean sheet I feel much happier! I still want those games in hand behind us and points on the board but hopefully this we will be a run we can kick on from!

Totally agree with this. Maybe other teams that we are due to play are already? (will consult the NLP later)

It's because England C are playing some meaningless friendly on Tuesday so NO games are allowed.
