Made 60 appearances in two seasons for Lincoln and scored 5 goals, and was considered good enough for league two by Scunny, so as long as he does a job for us don't care where he is from.

Centre back it says here: http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/Scunthorpe-United-agree-deal-sign-Lincoln-City/story-20085104-detail/story.html

Which would make sense seeing as we've only got one.

Boycey and Rodders in the team now. A shame Derek Niven left really.  ;D

Think there's some Peter Swann connection, he'd seen him at Trinity a while back so took him to Scunny.

I may be wrong but isn't he remarkably tall, around 6'5 or 6'6?

When do we sign Trigger?

Maybe we did - Scunthorpe Telegraph "Speaking yesterday, Imps boss Gary Simpson confirmed a Football League club had made a bid big enough to trigger a release cause in Boyce's contract" :)

Thought he was a big fella, should be great against some of the more direct teams.

Another threat from set pieces too which is always good, especially when we're struggling to score from open play!

Always stood out when I saw him play for Lincoln, was especially good in the air and generally solid...despite the OG!

Would imagine he will start along side Shaun tomorrow.

Well done PH / Grimsby T for moving so quickly to sign a player in this crucial position (for the rest of the season) and thank you Scunthorpe United for letting us have 'Boycey' and Jennings (in the shorter term / hopefully longer), Hopefully, our injured players can come back and challenge for places for the last 8/9/10 games of the season. Come on Town.
