And Dave always duly obliged - followed by laughter from the Barratt Stand inmates.

Longer it stays 0-0 with these negative tactics against a poor team that is also just trying to stop us scoring the more it starts to feel like a 1-0 defeat courtesy of a dodgy decision by the ref. :-/

Dear me, what's wrong this this team? Cruising through this, in complete control and fail to get any shots on goal. Second place beckons, and we slack off and invite them back into the game.

A voodoo ground and a slippery boggy one too made it a tense night.
Loved the none segregation and had a great crack with the Essex boys.
So good to see the goal finally go in when their fairy fingered goalkeeper spilled it in front of the shop.
65% possession and assured defence.
Well done the Mighty Mariners! A gritty performance and well deserved win!
