5-3-2 tonight?! Marshall and Tait wing backs and Arnold playing number 10 role?
Posted by: springstomind, July 28, 2015, 7:19pm; Reply: 1
Might be a 3-5-2? With Marshall and Tait wide Mid. I think Tait more likely to get forward than Marshall is to play at left back.

Peterborough 1-0 long range strike from about 30 yards. Warrington should certainly do better, didn't look completely top corner to me.

As much as I'd love it in some days when I'm knackered or hung over from the Friday. Broadcasting league games on video is financial suicide for a lower league club in my opinion. The Fred would go well down. Also there's a beauty about having to make the journey to go and watch your club play, rather than just switching the TV / laptop on.

Agreed. Can't see the whole picture and stuff happening off the ball. John Moore needs to back off the mike a bit too or get some kind of muffler on it. Early days though and can only improve with time.

Historic night all the same.

Playing some decent stuff but there's not a lot happened really. Think we did enough to be level at half time but P'boro do look a bit sharper than some of our previous opposition.

Town were the better team first half, they are a good team but several good saves by their keeper and a decent strike puts them one up

Technical help please.
Just signed for Mariners Player and watching on an iPad, all working fine although definitely not HD!

However the picture is only 4×3 and doesn't fit the screen even when maximised, and the menu bar and tabs at the top of the screen are always there.  Is there an app I should be using or is it just via the Safari browser?  Or do I have to blow the dust off the old PC and watch it on Windows?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Peterborough's defence looks strong and alert, hopefully better than anything we'll face from August 8th. Having said that we look ok at the back against league 1 strikers

Given that we are playing a strongly fancied L1 side I think we're doing very well. There's very little between the teams on the first half showing, and that's remarkable given that they have (in theory), much, much better players than we do, We should be level really, but we look quite comfortable and a threat when attacking. I'm really impressed with our application.

Great play by town. Really hunting down all lost causes and no player is pressing alone, it's as a team every time, forcing mistakes and ganging up on packs as soon as a player hesitates on the ball. Lost of big switches at the right time and patient great build up play, we're not getting bullied and giving a hard tackle for every one received. The much better side and looking like we'll catch hen on the break.

Plus as the poster above said the commentator needs to get a better microphone as the distortion when he gets excited is pretty bad.

Monk house has come on and done nothing but give the ball away. Obviously a good player but if he's ridiculously slow, needs to sort his passing today as that's the main part of his game. Link up play.

Good first attempt at a live stream - shame it kept dropping out - lousy microphone technique though by John Moore - massive distortion - needs a wind guard that stops actual contact and over loud distortion.

Good to see this when you can't make the game as tonight.

Another good game and result - onwards and upwards !

Three excellent goals - great to see the passing that led to Marshall's and Arnold loves to pop in the long range shots.
