Put your money on Halifax getting relegated. Dreadful at the back so you can see why they have conceded so many.

Some well-taken and well-created goals scored though and the forwards must both surely be looking to get some more. A couple of hat-tricks on the cards.

He is, he's worked his socks off tonight, quality player!

Hurst's first game in charge on his own was at Halifax 2 years ago, a thumping 4-0 defeat.
Now with his reborn strike force we are beating Halifax 4-0 at H/T.

Let this be the beginning of the new chapter of his management, a big points haul is up for grabs in the coming weeks.

Apart from a shaky 10 minutes we've been well in control of this game, Halifax have been very poor but not taking anything away from our performance, we look so dangerous on the flanks and up front, I can see us bag a few more goals yet. ;)

Bit dissappointed really, 4 0 at half time. My 5 0 is not looking good now

At HT, we are in the playoffs and have the best GD in the division..

So... knowing that Halifax were shaky at the back and knowing that Tomlinson was the only striker Hurst was guaranteed to pick, I stuck some money on Tomlinson scoring at least two tonight.

This is why I'm not a millionaire.

Hope we get 4+ more with both strikers getting a hat trick this may then turn into a turning point on some strange line ups and prove how good they are together.

A lot of players of Podge/Bogle's ability in this division could have really seen their backside but absolute credit to the both of them.

I remember during Euro 2004 the powers that be declared that shots coming back off the goal frame then going in off the keeper would be awarded to the player who had the shot. I have no idea if that was just for that tournament. I notice that Kane was given the goal for England the other night when it happened.
