Agreed. Glad to see Stewart starting, statement of intent methinks. Nice bit of faith shown in Omar too. Let's go chaps, let's go :-) (still mathematically possible.....)

Very interesting! Nice to see a bit of faith repaid to the lads who did well on Tuesday.

Positive action in Stewart being selected,  Hurst choosing to ignore the lack of height and defensive capabilities and going for a forward threatening choice instead.

We sound very good, which is no surprise when you pick a strong attacking side.

Poor finishing and good keeping kept eastleigh in it. They look poor. We look quite good, tailed off a bit last 15 but only one team going to win this

We could have had 5 in that first half, and definitely should have had at least 2.

Flitney is not a bad keeper.  C'mon town early goal in the 2nd half.

Posted by: pontoonlew, April 9, 2016, 4:30pm; Reply: 33
Though we're not winning, it's good to hear we're showing some attacking intent. We just sound genuinely unlucky.
Posted by: Meza, April 9, 2016, 4:31pm; Reply: 34
Unlucky or not clinical enough lew.  Does sound good though.  C'mon town

Judging by periscope, it looks like we're getting to the final 18 yards or into the box, then fizzling out.

Posted by: Meza, April 9, 2016, 4:47pm; Reply: 45
I cant tell if we've been wasteful or their keeper has been immense
Posted by: cmackenzie4, April 9, 2016, 4:49pm; Reply: 46
Bit of both to be honest Meza, I'm at the game, bit disappointed but at least we haven't lost.

Was the sending off the signal for them to park the bus? We know how we struggle to break down teams who do that.
Posted by: Meza, April 9, 2016, 4:52pm; Reply: 49
Yeah but we sounded the only team who would win it....in other news Pell sent off lol
Posted by: The_Chief, April 9, 2016, 5:10pm; Reply: 50
On another day, we win this one 5-0 and Podge nets a few.  Holman scored again for Chelts and is within breathing distance of Podge in the scoring charts ...  :o

Exactly what happened. We went from good football to hoof ball as we really have no idea how to break down 2 banks of four. We don't get behind teams and turn them around to face their own goal. Centre backs hoof it long and full backs cross it from too far out. Easily defended against.
