Grimsby v Carlisle Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 22/11/2016

GRIMSBY have no new injuries so an unchanged side is highly likely as Town try to follow up their win at the leaders with three points against the second placed club. Town almost secured three home points against Barnet in Bignot's first game as manager and the Mariners will be looking to record that first win at Blundell Park.

Carlisle have only lost once all season, although that was in their last home game, otherwise their record in the last 10 games is 9 wins. Grimsby in contrast have only won 2 of their last 10 games in all competitions and have lost half of their matches at Blundell Park this season, so the Mariners will have their work cut out against the Cumbrians - who have no injury worries.

Town have only lost twice at Blundell Park in 20 matches with Carlisle, although one of them was the last time the teams met in Town's relegation season of 2006.
