Crawley v Grimsby Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 09/02/2018

AKWASI Asante will not be involved in any more of Grimsby's games as the Dutchman has left the club.

Keepers Jake Kean and James McKeown are both injured, as are defenders Ben Davies and Danny Collins so Russell Slade will be forced into at least one change from the side which started at Cheltenham.

Collins is not allowed to play for two weeks after suffering from concussion against Cheltenham. Siriki. Collins's injury gives a good chance for England U-20 International defender Easah Suliman, on loan from Aston Villa, to be involved. The five loan ruling means another loanee will have to drop out to allow the 20-year-old to join the match squad. Reece Hall-Johnson, who came off the bench on Saturday, is the other alternative, although he played as a full back when he came on so is not a straight swap.

Winger Siriki Dembele is also unlikely to start as he is still troubled by a back injury.

Crawley have won 7 of the last 10 games, and Town have not won any of their last 10. The Mariners have not beaten Crawley since their first non-league game in 2010. The two teams drew 0-0 at Blundell Park back in October.
