Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby be next season?

Injury List 13/09/2001

By: Peter Forrester
Date: 13/09/2001

THE PHYSIO ROOM tends to be a busy place although players are beginning to filter back into Lennie Lawrence's first team. Town have played magnificently with limited resources and incoming players will be a great boost to fans.

  • Paul Raven - the centre back has been out for a long time after suffering an injury at Glanford Park and it is still unclear as to when the ex-Baggie will return. It seems it was a very wise move to bring in Marlon Broomes on loan.

  • Steve Livingstone - the big man is perhaps not as missed as he was at the beginning of the season but Livvo's will be a welcome name on the team sheet when he makes his eventual return from a back injury. The ex-Coventry striker would have loved to play at his old club but it is uncertain as to when his actual return date will be.

  • Stacy Coldicott - the shaven headed (a regular feature of Town players this season) midfielder is still recuperating from a niggling hamstring injury and is expected back by the end of the month. The fans will be glad to see the tough tackling player play again. However opposition players may not have the same enthusiasm.

Town's Youth Team have been given a bye through to the second round of the Youth Alliance Cup after Lincoln withdrew from the competition.  Youth Results/Fixtures
