Bogle Joins Wigan!

GRIMSBY striker Omar Bogle has joined Championship side Wigan in a 2.5-year deal worth between ?1 and ?1.5 million to Town. The Mariners are understood to have to give a proportion of the fee to his former club Solihull Moors.

Town had insisted that Bogle was not for sale. However, the lure of the Championship was too strong for Bogle to resist and the fact that Bogle had 18 months left on his contract meant that his value was only going to dwindle.

In the other direction Town have signed 25-year-old attacking midfielder Sam Jones from Gateshead for an "undisclosed fee" and Everton striker Calum Dyson on loan until the end of the season. The Mariners now have 11 midfielders on their books.
