We regularly need new Cod Heads, so would appreciate contributions from lifelong supporters of the Mariners. This week's Cod Head is Philip Borum.

Fishy:
Tell us a bit about yourself.

Philip:
I'm 27 and live in Grimsby and work on the Pywipe out the edge on town.

Fishy:
When did you first start supporting the Mariners, and what was your first game?

Philip:
I was about 8 or 9 and it was in the old 4th div and I think it was against Halifax but could be wrong. It was about 1986-87.

Fishy:
Who is the best player you ever saw wearing a Grimsby Town shirt?

Philip:
Paul Futcher, just always solid.

Fishy:
If there is one game you were allowed to go back in time and watch what would it be and why?

Philip:
1980 FA Cup v Liverpool at Anfield, just to see Liverpool in their pomp.

Fishy:
What are your favourite and least favourite away grounds?

Philip:
Anfield is my favourite and least must be Plough Lane, just a poor excuse of a football ground and a club!

Fishy:
What, in your opinion, are GTFC's best and worst seasons since you have been supporting them?

Philip:
The double Wembley season was the best and the worst I'd have to say was last season.(this season would be up there if we go up).

Fishy:
What is the most eventful day you have ever had in the course of following the Mariners?

Philip:
Probably the '98 play-off final. The brother's mate and I went to Old Trafford the day before to see the Sth Africa test, it was a great weekend (we had a nice ruby murray I seem to remember, my brother Chris specially enjoyed that!).

Fishy:
What is the strangest thing you have ever done at a game?

Philip:
Leave early.

Fishy:
What is the worst game you've ever been to?

Philip:
Leicester away in the Anglo-Italian cup we lost 4-0 and one man and his dog was the attendance.

Fishy:
What's the most amusing chant you've heard at a game?

Philip:
Wimbledon fans signing "we hate Yorkies" at us (thick C*"£%s)

Fishy:
Who is the greatest ever GTFC manager?

Philip:
Buckley and Shankly's the greatest manager to have managed town.

Fishy:
How many games a season do you get to now, and what do you do while Town are playing games that you can't get to?

Philip:
I go to most home games and when they don't play on a Saturday I'm normally in the pub.

Fishy:
Name your all-time starting eleven since you have been watching Town?

Philip:
1.Beasant
2.Macca
3.Croft
4.Futcher (C)
5.Lever
6.Groves
7.Gilbert
8.Cockerill
9.Drinkell
10.Mendonca
11.Ford

Fishy:
What's the best-ever atmosphere you remember at a home and away game?

Philip:
Wembley 98
