Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby be next season?

Who's Your Hero?
Who's Your Hero?

February Player of the Month

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 02/03/2008

TOWN continued their amazing run throughout February, with the exception of what looked probably the easiest game on paper - Dagenham at home, where they got thrashed.

Home > 2007-2008 Season > Player of the Month > February

The six players nominated by our readers for the February Player of the Month award, votes from which will count towards the eventual winner at the end of the season, are as follows:

Rob Atkinson - Rob Atkinson has probably been the most important signing of the season. Since he arrived at the club Town's fortunes have turned around. Let's just hope he's here next year too.

Phil Barnes - Unbelievably Barnes has made the transition from a dodgy looking 'keeper we couldn't wait to get rid of to one of the finest goalkeepers in the whole division in the space of a few short months. Well done Barnesy!

Danny Boshell - Bosh returned from injury in February and has had a great month in the middle of the park for Town.

Nick Fenton - Fenners has had an excellent month, one of the bedrock of Town's three man defence throughout February.

Nick Hegarty - Unbelievably Nick is the longest serving player at Blundell Park, but he has been overlooked by a string of managers. Only this season has he made the transition from bit player to one of the first names on the team sheet. What have we been missing?

Danny North - Northy was given the No. 9 jersey in the summer and is now a worthy recipient of the shirt worn by so many of our heroes over the years.

Pleas vote using Question of the Week.
