Wrexham being held and staying a point behind us/not leapfrogging us...our win feels a bit like a league win that gained us 2 points  ::)

Our game against Alfreton is a must win because Newport, Wrexham could drop points to Forest Green and Kidderminster.

If only we had got a goal at Cambridge...........................................................

I hope we can go and build a good points gap over the next couple of months because the run in looks tough. Can't be doing with another Slade season scenario. :o

The next three league games are all winnable. We need 7 points minimum from Alfreton, Telford and home and Nuneaton away...but to be title challengers we need all 9. FGR will be up for their game at home to Wrexham this weekend.

Personally think Wrexham will win it, they are by far the best team I have seen us play against in this league. But in football, anything can happen.

Town are superior to Wrexham in all departments . It will come down to runs of games like we have coming up and if we can take max points . I will be disappointed with less than 9/9 . If we can I think our squad will prove too strong over the next 15 or so games and hopefully leave us safe going into the last few games
Posted by: RoboCod, January 30, 2013, 8:19am; Reply: 185
Wrexham are the best passing team, most attractive etc....but that doesn't get you titles.Town just have to find consistency throughout 90 minutes. They seem to wait until something lifts them, then they're off. When we counter attack we look fantastic, but I wish we had a couple more game plans. Keeping more possession and grinding out the game after grabbing a goal for one.

Wrexham look good, but they've dropped 5 points against us. Town for the title.

55 paying fans from Luton, 20 free tickets for family and friends! Luton insisted on the full price match tickets. However they would only have charged £10 at Kennilworth Rd. Probably due to their expected massive home fan base!
