By the sound of it the forwards are gelling really well again, LJL proving to everyone he is more than a target man, he is a striker, he just needs help and support up there which he is getting with the current shape and tactics, Pittman playing a vital role again, encouraging signs, yes alfreton ate bottom, but Gateshead were not and it sounds like we are playing to our new found strengths. Give it 10 minutes in the second half and if we're still 3 ahead to give Winfarrah, Connell and Mackereth a game - Pitman (and his hamstrings) and a.n. others a rest - this will help the team building i.m.h.o

The crowd are really showing there appreciation of such a superb performance from everyone, 7-0 sounds easy but Macca has again played his part with a couple of quality saves during the game.

Confidence must be at a sky high level around the club, results like this have a knock on effect and will leave the Town buzzing.

I remember us beating Darlington either 7-2 or 9-2 under George Kerr and then winning 6-3 against someone else shortly after but can't remember if that was successive games?

Mike Lester scored 4 in the 7-2 against Darlington and I missed the 1st one due to crowd congestion.

Currently, we're only 8th, so we need to concentrate a bit more to gain ground on Halifax :)

We have totally transformed, who would've thought for one minute we'd be scoring at the rate we are? Bare in mind before that we had hit 25 goals in 23 games, now we have over half of that in just 2 games.
