Commentators saying there was a goal and didn't tell us who it was for for 20 further seconds. I feared the worst but it's all good.

Change of luck.
Hopefully we have passed the bad luck on to borhamwood, they can have it for a few games and then pass it on to fgr 😉

Start well for 30 mins, create a few chances, don't score them, then other team starts to come back into it. It's deja vu time. Thank god for the OG.

In defence of RH, the FM frequency is their main one for the whole region and MW is poor and not everyone has DAB
If it means Scunny fans have to listen to our game for updates where we are winning and they aren't then I'm all in favour! ;)

How's Robinson done in midfield in the 1st half?.
Posted by: FishOutOfWater, September 5, 2015, 3:58pm; Reply: 44
So who would take this one at full time as it stands now at half time?
A clean sheet on our travels is always something to be welcomed although it would be good to hit the back of the net ourselves
Just keep it tight second half and we should have a bit better mood on here later on...well until England play that is ;)

How's Robinson done in midfield in the 1st half?.
From what I heard he was getting involved putting himself about a bit early on but closer to half time I think they said he was drifting out of the game a bit
A 15 minute breather might help him for the start of the second half but if he starts to become anonymous and their midfield start to get on top then hope PH changes things about and doesn't stubbornly leave him on for his game to suffer and leave him open to more criticism

There's a player there in Robinson I was just aggrieved he was chucked into engine room when not played for 5 months and didn't know anything about his teammates. But as time progresses he should get better, similarly with Robertson.
I'm a Clay fan too but the couple of games I've missed he's apparently underperformed so...
A snappy Scott Brown on top form would be handy right now but such is life. He'll need to be bedded in gently ideally in a month or whenever the time comes.
Anyway, come on you Super Mariners!!!!!

If FGR average 2 points a game from now on, they will end with 100 points.

It will be very hard to keep a high consistency and winning by the odd goal, particularly when injuries / suspensions creep in; let's see how they perform when in-form teams (the Mighty Mariners) are in the chasing pack!

But if we average 2.35 we will finish above them, so it's that close!!
What you can say is if they average 3 points from now on in they will finish top.

What a nonsensical statement Ron, im sure we'll be a shoe - in for playoffs. We're still playing for the title, if we've left ourself short already all we can do is try our damdest and so be it if not we'll continue trying via the alternative route. Forest Green winning every single game makes us seem bad right now, but we've dominated nearly every game so I'm happy it will come good.

It will be very hard to keep a high consistency and winning by the odd goal, particularly when injuries / suspensions creep in; let's see how they perform when in-form teams (the Mighty Mariners) are in the chasing pack!
Thing is, we've seen it before with Fleetwood, Crawley and Barnet, and they had less impressive starts than FGR. 12 points is a huge gap against a successful team. Not impossible to catch them, but in light of recent history, highly unlikely.
It would be different if we looked strong in all departments, but right now we look very vulnerable at the back. Sorry to be the voice of doom, but it's just how it looks to me after our recent results.

Sorry for the time between posts. Went for a pint with the score at 0-1. By the time i got to the pub, it was 0-3. Just got home, the worse for wear and delighted that we have got a win. :)

FGR will have a poor spell and we need to capitalise when that happens.

We've been very unlucky despite dominating games and looking class to me. Coupled with Forest Greens remarkable start it worse than we would have hoped. But all is not lost, we thought we might walk it but let's not forget Forest Green have a massive budget compared to us even with our extra 110k.

Typical Hurst ! He'll win a couple now then back to square one in a few weeks .
To only be chasing a play off place when it's still only September is unforgivable
So we will hear from you in a couple of weeks then! Nice. 8)

Referee is Constantine Hatzidakis, he has only reffed in 2 games in this league but has issued 14 yellow cards so far
3 games and 21 now !
