You've got to give it to PH, he's his own man. I was expecting to see Bogle and Amond starting today. Seems an unnecessary gamble to leave them out. But what do I know!

C'mon Town. Can't fault Hurst's logic -   team that won 4-0 should start today. But would have liked to have seen Arnold back on...

I personally think it is ludicrous to leave out Bogle and Amond. We had seven shots and created very little last week, against an extremely poor team.

Hope I'm proved wrong, yet again. UTM

With the team that he has picked (defensive i.m.o.) - PH will be reasonably happy with being level at half time.

The trick now is to weld his super subs in to the game at an early stage in the second half, to give us some goal power.

Poor first half from both teams.

How fgr are top i will never know.

Bogle and amond are being missed and just a poor match really.

I have no idea how your two top scorers are left on the bench.

Need a win , nothing else will especially as the team at the top are excrement

If the manager does this again, as you say (unless we score a hatful in the last 10 minutes), there will be a lot of angry fans at the end of the game. I hope he goes for a win.

Disappointing not to get three points. Don't know what to think about the line up. On one hand, that side won 4-0 last time so it seems reasonable to not make changes. On the other hand, Amond and Bogle have scored most of our goals. I would probably have introduced at least one of them to partner JPP but hindsight is wonderful thing.

There's still 32 games to go, so 96 more points to play for. 74 from 96 should see us promoted as champions. Plenty of time yet. We just need time for the team to gel, and convert a few more chances. We've just been a bit unlucky.

I'm waiting to hear his reasons, they might both have had slight knocks. If they were both firing fully though, then it was mental. I've never particularly rated Tomlinson although it's a good option to have something different in the squad, he is not as good as Bogle or Amond.

From AB's summary on the radio Tomlinson sounded a real handful and a goal threat, strange how the impression I got from that differs from everyone on here so far tonight, he even said there was no point bringing Amond on in place of him as he was more of the same and that only bringing Bogle on would make a difference to how Forest Green had to defend. I don't think I heard him say that Tomlinson was less of a player than the other two. Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer our own strikers to be playing but he's not really excrement or anything so I can understand why the same team started.  I agree he could have made changes sooner but from commentary that should probably have been on the wings first.

Bring on the Heed.

Cross was behind him a bit. Could perhaps have done better, but the ball was behind him so an understandable miss - the problem was more the poor cross from Mackreth. On the other hand, I thought he should have hit the target with his header from Mackreth's good cross which I think was a bit later in the game.

Your last sentence doesn't give me much inspiration .

I think the balance is right , there are two defined camps now but it all depends which one your in . Some are more vociferous than others but all have theirs points.
