Toto dropped. Interesting.

He's a stubborn one isn't he, Hurst? Monkhouse has been dogger for a few weeks and keeps his place after the worst of those last few performances at the weekend.

Have to agree with bringing Pearson in just while all the other stuff calms down. Bogle obviously said something out of order on Saturday then!

How does Monkhouse still get in the team, he's had one maybe two good games, he's either not got back to help defend or he does get back to defend and stands in the wrong place. When he's attacking he's too flipping slow to do anything useful, he hardly wins any headers which is supposedly why he's in the squad.

Glad Pearson is back in the squad, he's one of the first names that should be on the team sheet.

There is no turning point, if we win tonight then will get three points maybe win the next game but sooner or later will lose some games  and we will draw some games,  an automatic place went months ago in my opinion,  we will get into the play-off places without too much trouble then it's a lottery after that as it was the season before, the season before and the season before!!

There must be a lot in the Findus bar right now otherwise today's attendance is going to be a shocker!

People starting to talk with their feet.

Welcome back Pearson, reclaim your rightful starting position.

Hope not. He needs a good game tonight though, as he seems lucky to retain his place on merit IMO, and I am one of those who understands the value he has to the team when on form.

Not suggesting we're going to win the league. I'm saying we haven't won for 3 games and it could become a habit. If we lose tonight they might start wondering about the pay offs let aloe the league

It'll be just over 40 notes as got 13/8. Peed off as could have had 4/1 I think for over 4.1 goals and I bottled it. Watch the buggers fly in 2nd half. Sob!

Just realised our former loanee midfielder Robinson is in midfield for Woking tonight? How's he doing against us?
Posted by: Maringer, February 23, 2016, 8:47pm; Reply: 60
For how bad the referee is, how about this:

Podge has a powerful effort cleared off the line and the follow up is then apparently palmed off the line but the ref doesn't award anything. The ball is cleared to the half way line where Arnold tries to turn his man and is fouled, which the ref ignores. The ball then goes across to the other side of the pitch where Clay is penalised for a foul he didn't commit. They duly score with a free header. That's 3 bad refereeing decisions in 30 seconds which effectively leads to a two goal swing!

Later on, Podge was clearly pulled back when running through on goal, but the referee chickened out. They then almost scored from a corner which should have been a throw-in!

Nothing against Woking who look a decent side but for a dodgy defence - lots of pace throughout their team and decent on the ball, they've won loads of corners and too many free-kicks in our half.

I wouldn't think the scoring is over in this one yet so let's hope Podge can get his hat-trick.

so you guys need to win 5 or six of your remaining fixtures to enter the lottery,  even after this recent slump that has set you back you should make it pretty comfortably,Interesting to see Wrexham sliding into the frame now albeit with two extra games played than you,  So.. out of the top two who would you prefer to take on if it came to the final again, the facthunt at Chelt is the one i would hate to match up against, he is one of the best motivators of a lower league set up about,[this is what his managerial career has been about, he aint upper league material] and think he will take them to the title, If its the veggie crew, providing you do the first round  right, reckon you could be in for a similar type of game to last season.. but whatever keep fighting,  and best of luck,

You're right, that's what I should have said. The best points tally we've had at this stage of a season and after a poor couple of games, a sub-3000 crowd. Fickle beyond belief.

Understandable though.1000 down on the last home game but night games usually have a few less fans, Barca on the telly and a couple of poor games leading up to this one. I thought there would be about 3100.

JF was handed a bit of paper, presumably with the attendance on just before it was announced and he looked deadpan before handing it to someone else who was shaking his head. Of course it could have been something else but the timing suggested it was the attendance figures.
