Great result. We'e seemed pretty unlucky with penalty decisions but the couple we've had recently show their importance.
And a clean sheet again...how much is this down to Collins I wonder?

Hard fought game from the radio commentary, and brilliant 3 points gained - ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

Consistency is the key, along with keeping players fit, and not too many stupid bookings for silly things like aggravating refs !!

Mckeown on 3 yellows for the season, Hendersons gonna get his chance sooner or later

We could have been tbh was one of those games where the final bit of quality was missing for a lot of good chances. For a while I was worried we'd fail to convert those chances and they'd steal one from those long throw ins and all the corners they won.

It would be nice to beat Hartlepool on Saturday to keep us up there, maybe if we do certain Hartlepool players may need a reminder about their decision making this summer?

Over the last few NL seasons, we would probably have dropped 2 points tonight against a struggling side.   This result shows the progress that we have made, and at a higher level.

Attendance was 4296 with 39 from Newport. Fair play to them, it's a fecking long way for a midweek.

One word on the ref he seemed pretty crap apart from the penno they got away with numerous hand balls and in general looked a bit bias.

I just don't get why we are playing sides like Colchester, Newport and Portsmouth on Tuesday nights. Why not play Donny, Mansfield, Notts County or Accrington on Tuesdays? These are not long journeys so you might get a some away fans for both games.

It's the same for all though isn't it - see Luton away at Hartlepool and Portsmouth at Blackpool tonight, for example. Common sense and respect for working football supporters doesn't prevail. I'm not even sure if the fixture planning is done by a person or a machine.

He shouldn,t have received this one. That fat lump of dog shite nearly pushed him through the back of the net and Macca only responded by offering him a 10 year pass to the fitness centre at Millfields { in his own words ] and even tried to remove a piece of mud from his nose. What is it coming to when you get punished for trying to help a fellow professional.

Maybe somebody should be reviewing the footage and giving him another ban before he hurts another player, he's a thug swinging his fists around of course he got himself involved as soon as anything kicked off surprised how quickly Collins was able to move his fat behind out the way. Speaking of Collins and also Davies it's hard to believe they are older than Parkin, he looks 44 not 34.

Not even sure how it started between their player and Macca they were just suddenly having a little shoving fight over something and then Parkin came bounding over and manhandled Macca
