Well.....at least he has shook it up. Asking alot of Davies maybe if that lines up like a 3-5-2 ...but with Mills and RHJ on the bench maybe just run your legs your off and we will take you off when you are spewing.

Can't see any creativity in the middle still, unless Clifton can do that job?

Is McAllister injured then? Not even on the bench. I'm also concerned that it looks like Davies is at wing-back and as much as I think he's a great professional, the last time he played there was at Pompey and it was awful.

No cm's on the bench. What has mcallister gotta do to even make the bench. Like that line up though with dembele given freedom and less chance of being man marked.

Thankfully MJ can tell already that woolford and vernon offer nothing already.

Cmon boys

Maybe people need to accept there's a reason McCallister isn't being picked if our third manager this season has chosen not to include him? Maybe the injuries have taken their toll.

Yeah that's a reasonable explanation. I'm just going off the fact that he himself said he was fit recently but you could be  right and he's not the player he once was.

looks like Davies and Fox will be asked to work hard, considering two like for like replacements on the bench.  Same goes up top.  The 6 in CM and central defence better not get injured tho!

As I gave mentioned previously when McCallister wasn't picked, is his contract based more on appearances than a weekly wage, hence Fenty is still picking the team!!!

Davies is not young anymore but still a class  player, Fox maybe not 100% up to speed yet,

So Mills AND H-J   on when they tire I would think.

There is a difference between a man saying he is 100% fit,

AND

Being match fit, we have so many fitness coaches and managers ect that monitor a players actual fitness that although he thinks he is fit, he isn't.

He needs a run of games to be match fit and  he has not done that for one reason or another.

Simply dreadful first half with an appalling goal given away. Making Vale look world beaters. Could be 3 down easily but for a great save by Macca and a post (I think - actually thought that one was in)
No energy in midfield, no goal threat whatsoever, no movement. Nothing but effort and that alone is not good enough.
Truly truly shocking.

Another appalling performance. Clarke, Berrett & Rose are criminally bad, Davies can't even make a 5 yard pass & this Fox lad somehow isn't even an improvement on Dixon. Massive gaps between midfield & the isolated Matt, who's again showing he can't function as a lone target man effectively, and Dembele is still struggling to find an end product. Only players up to standard are Clifton & McKeown (made an incredible save to keep it at 1-0 after the defence parted to let their lad in for a free shot). Suliman hasn't been too bad either.

Anyway, we're getting relegated no doubt about it.

Jolley hasn't instilled any work ethic yet then, I know he's stuck with Slade's squad and couldn't turn them into footballers given 7 years never mind 7 days but I had hoped a new man might just have spurred a few on and he might have kicked the odd bottom

For the 1st time I really am seeing the threat of relegation as a real possibility.

Forget 5 point gap if things stay the same, the lack of quality in this team is worst I have seen in 45 years of watching Town. Literally. No exaggeration

Slade has taken a mid table side and turned them into this.

If we go down, that could be it for another 6 years.

A point with a late equaliser is at least something to build on.

Just finished my humble pie, great turn and shot from Berrett, felt we deserved a share of the points however, we need to press more.

Agree when was the last time we got a last minute equaliser or winner ?

Not a Jolley good start but a Jolley decent one in the end.

Its good to see a fight-back. Shows the players are getting behind Jolley

A point is a good result considering we was loosing. It may not be the 3 points we all wanted before kick off but it’s something to build on.

He was better then Dixon, but so is a 1 legged deer. Looked fit and got a full 90 minutes bombing it up and down the pitch.

His techniqual ability was a bit so so his crosses especially, but he hasn't played with the lads before and isn't match sharp so theres time for that to grow.

But for a 97th min equaliser by Crewe, we would have moved up the table. Not too bad all round considering we were outplayed. Another point in front of the bottom and another round of games gone, Let's hope we can keep our noses in front. We were down to 3rd bottom at one stage today.

I saw that Ginny, it looked desperate at that point, with Chesterfields games in hand!

Aye. Most positive thing is the fight back and late equaliser. Shows it can be done. Be ace if we can go one better next week.

Feel sorry for the Vale fans looks like another case of fans are criminals as two coach loads escorted by police riot squads down to the ground

Morons kicked off big time after we scored trying to get to the town fans n the lower findus.

Oh I know. Clearly was deserved. We were walking through Cleethorpes before the match and there were no signs of trouble when I posted that.

Time Macca looked elsewhere too give the young lad Killip a chance Non league would be a good grounding for him

To be fair a draw seemed fair given Maccas commanding performance and the penno save, We fought tooth and nail to get that draw and were on top near the end shame the long delay due to crowd trouble took away our momentum.

Fantastic atmosphere form both sets of fans thought Davis had too much to do as a wing back he can't get past his man the crosses were not good either.
