Grimsby started with both new loan players and Llewellyn playing up front again.

On 24 minutes last man Carew pulled Till down on the edge of the area and the referee only gave him a yellow card.

Carew then set up a great chance for Adomah, but his header went narrowly wide.

Just before half time Till gave the ball away and Adomah put a cross in on the right hand side which Bishop bundled into the goal. Bishop then went close in injury time when a shot was deflected wide.

Town failed to muster a chance of any note in the entire game, which ended 1-0 to the Bees and leaves Town as officially the worst team in the British Isles.
