Just In: FT: Rotherham 4 Grimsby 1

By: The Fishy News Team
Date: 04/10/2008 14:47

Town lined up in their 3-5-2 formation.

After a dull start on 20 minutes the ball was cleared from inside the area, and touched back to Boshell who curled it into the top corner off the angle of post and crosbar.

The first half ended 1-0 to Grimsby.

On 49 Rhodes crossed the ball, and the unmarked Reid headed in off the bar on the far post.

A goalkeeping mistake by Town gave Rotherham the lead when Hudson drilled a shot though Barnes on 57.

Cummings extended Rotherham's lead to 3-1 in what looked like another goalkeeping error.

On 81 Barker scored on his debut with a free header on the far post.
