Jamie Clarke and Danny North both started for the first time this season. Forecast continued in goal.

Rotherham had the best of the first 20 minutes. They carried on to dominate the first half and had a lot of corners, but failed to seriously threaten Tommy Forecast's goal.

Early in the second half Town had a Leary goal disallowed for offside. The ball came straight down the other end at hit Stockdale's arm, and the referee gave a harsh penalty. Le Fondre took the penalty kick and beat Forecast.

Peter Sweeney scored an equaliser when Sweeney struck a sweet shot from 20 yards past Warrington.

The celebrations lasted just four minutes until Cummins scored from a free kick with a downwards header.

Rotherham went on to win fairly comfortably and hit the post in the final minute of injury time.
