Just In: FT: Grimsby 1 Dagenham 1

Rob Atkinson returns in places of Linwood. Proudlock starts in place of Wright.

Town started brightly and after 8 minutes Coulson failed to control a ball played through to him by Proudlock and the chance went away.

Peter Bore almost scored an own goal on 30 but Colgan just managed to get to the ball, having initially missed it.

Coulson gave Town the lead when the ball was played to him on the edge of the box, and he beat his man and slotted home.

Just before half time a Sweeney free kick hit the bar, bounced back into play and then hit the bar again off a player.

Dagenham missed a golden chance in first half injury time when Miller missed the ball in the six yard box.

The first half ended 1-0 to Town.

Early in the second half Benson had a goal disallowed for a foul on Arkinson. Then almost straight away Benson hit the bar from just two yards out.

Dagenham finally got the equaliser they deserved on 59 when the ball was crossed into the box and John Nurse headed it in.

In the last half hour both sides had chances but neither could take them.
