Aswad Thomas made a surprise return, with Toto suspended, meaning a reshuffle for the back four with Magnay going to left back. Neilson also returned in midfield after being dropped for Dartford. Town returned to a 4-5-1 formation.

Town dominated the first 15 minutes and then McKeown saved Town with a good save to deny the visitors after 20 mins.

Coburn made a good save to deny McLaughlin after good work by Makreth.

The second half followed a similar pattern with Town having the bulk of the pattern but creating very little despite all the pressure. Altrincham looked dangerous on their few forways up the pitch.  Match Thread
