Just In: FT: Braintree 0 Grimsby 1

Town were unchanged for the trip to Braintree where they had never scored or won before, meaning another 4-5-1 line-up.

Grimsby shaded a lacklustre first half but neither side had an attempt on target.

Town finally took the lead midway through the second half when a rare shot on target by Clay took the 'keeper unawares and John-Lewis was on hand to smash the rebound past the 'keeper.

Town looked comfortable, and only the bookings of the referee looked likely to cause a problem.

Grimsby saw the lead out and won 1-0 to climb to second in the table.

Town: McKeown, Magnay, Nsiala, Pearson, Thomas, Disley; Pell, Clay, Mackreth, Arnold, John-Lewis  Forum
