The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Who will go down?

We are Town!
We are Town!

Gateshead v Grimsby Team News

PAUL Hurst has a number of options available to him at Gateshead with some players back from injury and suspension. Scott Neilson returns to the side following his three match suspension for his sending off in the play-off semi final, ironically on the same ground.

Neilson looks certain to start, as Town has missed his creativity on the three draws which Town have had in the opening games.

The other main decision is whether to continue with three at the back, a formation which Town switched to for the Dover game. Town didn't allow Dover to create many opportunities against them, and it's a formation which might suit Grimsby against Gateshead.

None of players who were injured are likely to start, but some of them may make the bench. Pittman came on a substitute against Dover but probably isn't fit enough to last 90 minutes.
