The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby be next season?

Mariners Big One

Included in the Bradford team are world cup star Dan Petrescu and one time Mariners hero, goal keeper Aidan Davison who is expected to get a good reception from the home crowd in his first return to Blundell Park.

Missing however will be Bradford's biggest signing Benito Carbone and Dean Saunders who is injured. Lee Sharpe and David Hopkins will be playing.

This will be Town's toughest test but will give manager Alan Buckley a further look at Michael Jeffrey who is on trial from Kilmarnock. If Jeffrey can show some form against this Premier team it is likely that Buckley will sign him.

This will be a great opportunity to show his colours and the game itself will be the the first opportunity to get some indication of how the Mariners will perform in the first division.

A good showing could have the Grimsby fans looking forward to our first game with some confidence.
