GRIMSBY manager Russell Slade has invited four more players down to Blundell Park for trials with the Mariners and there may be two new signings this week.

Paul Riley, a 21 year old defender from Notts County, Kevin Nicholson, a midfield player who has played for Notts County, Northampton and Sheffield Wednesday and Marvin Robinson, a big striker who has played for Exeter, Stoke, Derby, Tranmere and Chesterfield.

Darren Watson also arrived at Blundell Park this morning. He is described as a very tall striker, who has scored several spectacular goals for Margate - including his first Nationwide Conference hat- trick against Morecambe in 2003. The OS also reports that here is a chance that Frenchman D'Amico may return for a further trial period.

Paul Gaughan (Hamilton), Anthony Williams (Hartlepool GK), Yannick Kamanan and Jean Gabbin are still on trial.
