The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby be next season?

A Draw Was Not Enough

TOWN let automatic promotion slip through their fingers today after failing to beat a struggling bottom of table side with two goals scored in a space of three minutes earning both a point each.

Macclesfield played extremely well and it was a typical promotion team and lower team dog fight.

Leyton won 2-1 at Peterborough needing to beat Oxford next week to challenge us for the promotion spot as Town play Northampton, who will not do us any favours.

It is unlikely that we could get promoted via the playoffs, in my opinion, so it is beat Northampton or stay in League 2.

A report will be on here very shortly.
