Town Beat Lincoln 1- 0

GRIMSBY Town won the first leg of the League 2 playoffs beating Lincoln City 1-0 at Sincil Bank today and held on to their lead for the rest of the game.

Parkinson and Woodhouse were involved in the goal which eventually went in from Gary Jones in the 22nd minute.

The Mariners now meet in what should be a sell out at Blundell Park on Tuesday night and if Town win, they will qualify for the final in the Millenium stadium.

There is still no time to think it is over. Lincoln are a strong team and could have scored a couple today hitting the bar twice.

Report on here soon.
