Joint GTST/GTFC Announcement

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 06/11/2006

JOHN Fenty (Chairman - Grimsby Town Football Club) and Dave Otter (Chairman - Grimsby Town Supporters Trust) are pleased to announce two joint initiatives that will take place over the coming weeks.

The Chairman’s Interview - Monday 13th November

John Fenty will be in the hotseat on Monday November 13th during an interview to be conducted by GTST Chairman, Dave Otter.

The interview, which will be broadcast on MarinersWorld, will consist solely of questions submitted by supporters of the club. Questions can cover anything connected to the football club (both on and off the pitch) - questions covering topical subjects such as the new stadium development will be especially welcomed.

A transcript of the interview will also be made available on the GTST website after the broadcast.

Questions should be directed to GTST by Friday 10th November 2006 for inclusion in the interview. Questions can be submitted via:

  • Email to - enquiries@gtst.net
  • Telephone to - 0870 4711 827
  • Post to - Grimsby Town Supporters Trust, PO Box 421, Grimsby, DN32 9WL

GTST request that all questions are accompanied by the submitter’s name, as well as contact details appropriate to the method of submission (e.g. e-mail address for questions submitted by email, telephone number for questions submitted by phone). Questions will be put to John Fenty in an anonymous manner, however GTST would like direct responses back to individuals as well as via the methods above, to cater for those that do not have internet access.

Details of the broadcast times will be available on the GTFC official website (www.gtfc.co.uk) in the coming days.

Fans Forum/Quiz Night - Tuesday 12th December

On Tuesday 12th December, GTFC and GTST will jointly host a Quiz Night and Fans Forum at McMenemy’s Bar, Blundell Park, 7.30pm start. There will be no entry charge, and hot food will be available to purchase on the night.

GTFC players and officials will be in attendance, and the night will also include a short signing session, a raffle and a charity auction. Further information will be made available on the GTFC official website (www.gtfc.co.uk) nearer the time.
