Slightly off topic. Town fans not allowed in the bar. Full segregation !!

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Marshall not in squad despite being our only other winger. Unless he's injured or ill, that's a fairly straight message about his level of recent performances.

Come on Town, another great turnout by Mariners fans.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

What do we expect? We generally start slow. The amount of respect and bigging up PH does of the opposition in the pre match build up the players probably think they're going out to play barca!

Let's hope we can turn this one around. Or we really can start to concentrate on the FA trophy 😉

Sounds like a mis firing start. Need some Podge magic................ Still think "Cassius" Clay should be starting, seen us right most of the season.

Also sounds like Emmanuelle is causing us problems.

Too many of our midfielders go missing too often. All of them against Gateshead (apart from Nolan in the second half). None of them appear to have turned up for the first 20 minutes of this match either.

Also off topic, Rob Makepeace of BBC Lincs is at G'boro Trinity tonight and says GTFC, Gateshead and Reading scouts are at the game v Brackley. Anyone know who they might be watching? Presumably a Brackley player?

What I don't understand, I firmly believe that Nolan was purchased with the thought in mind too be the long term replacement for Dizza?
If that's the case, surely you play one or the other?

I really liked the look of Nolan on Saturday. He is forward thinking and makes stuff happen. Has 2 goals already and Clay has 3 for the season. That is why Hurst brought him in.

We need to step it up second half and turn the screw, and we need to start this half better. We need to win this game. A draw would be useless, and a defeat calamitous in the context of the fight for the title.

Happy to see Pittman coming on. Think he's much more likely to grab a goal than Bogle (who's been below par for me of late)

Draws now are points lost that we are unlikely to make up between now and the business end of the season

What we know is that Cheltenham have repeatedly ground out wins from positions similar to this. If we want to compete, we must do the same tonight.

Unfortunately this appears to be another two points dropped. This is why we will end up with at least one more season in the conference.

Yep. I've no doubt that FGR or Cheltenham would score if they found themselves in the same position.

Need some inspiration from someone out there don't we?

If the players can't step up these last ten minutes then to my mind it shows they've probably realised the only way up for us is going to be via the play-offs

Missed the goal, came back and the way Tondeur was talking I thought Bromley had taken the lead until he said Town were 2 - 1 up.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Fuckin get in!!!!!!

Come on Town don't throw it away now.

Who's that knob on the radio with JT? Just said we don't deserve to be ahead.

No he didn't. He said we didn't deserve the free kick that lead to the goal

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

What we know is that Cheltenham have repeatedly ground out wins from positions similar to this. If we want to compete, we must do the same tonight.

Good result, sort of gritty win we needed. The first 20 mins of games is still concerning but nice to see us doing some of the things our rivals have been doing. Obviously you'd prefer to see us play well and win but this will do for tonight.

Bill was listening to the commentary on the radio.

Bill thinks J.T. is the merchant of doom.

                       Bill is wise.

                       Bill switched the radio off.

                       Be like Bill.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you give him an excuse for him to escape from the wife and kids for the weekend and drink lots of beer.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this.

I tweeted him the other day asking him to show some excitement when we score.

He didn't tweet back

Why can';t  we win before 2142 hours?  Very bad for the collective nerves.
