Why's Osborne not on the bench? Who goes at centre half should Clarke or Collins get injured?

Davies I guess?, or like Jones or Livvo used to, could Vernon fill in?, he certainly heads away a number of attacking corners

Mills seems the obvious answer or Davies

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

Only looks about 50 Crawley fans from where I'm sat.

We've had the best couple of chances. Good interlinking between Vernon and Dembele set the latter free through the middle, but he stopped running too soon to set himself for a shot and it was blocked. Reckon he could have taken it a few more paces though they were catching him. Other good chance came from interplay between Vernon and Jones as led to Jones having a shot blocked point blank by their keeper.

They've not really threatened. Both teams as likely to slice it into touch as find their own players.

Wind in our faces second half so the onus is on us to use the ball better.

Erm, they had a shot just passed the post after poor play by Dixon and a header from a corner that McKeown saved on the line.

We have been crap.

I've seen some crap over the years but I think Dixon may be in the running for one of our worst ever players. So, expect a goal from him now.

Good player 2 goals for Man C today

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Listening on the radio.
Buckley just asked for his MOTM. Couldn't nominate anyone.
Said no one has had a stinker. But no one has stood out either.
Sums it all up. Training session for both teams that are happy for a draw.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Buckley entirely correct with his summation. Nobody terrible but nobody good. Dixon was dodgy for the first twenty minutes but didn't put a foot wrong defensively after that. Both teams struggled with their passing at times - perhaps the wind made it a bit more difficult than you'd have thought.

Must be something in the air today as some people in the stand were working themselves into a frenzy about how bad we were, when we were just very average and have played much worse than that this season.

Mid-table team with mid-table players playing mid-table football.
