Summary of what said early on;
Mike White interviewing; asks season ticket pack mentions 'crisis'; have things got worse since we last spoke?
Day; not got worse, but EFL have promised a rescue package for clubs, but EFL aren't making a lot of progress with Premier League, so it is becoming a crisis.  We werent asked about returning to work, we were told.
EFL clubs facing £200 million black hole by September, its nearly September, black hole still there!
Premier League haven't made a decision yet. Possible commercial loan.

Cashflow is satisfactory, but looking to end of season, critical cash situation by Feb/March!
Projected income £1million down.  Losing a million in tickets/commercial is a very heavy blow.

White asked; delay frustrating? look at transfer fees?
Day;  tv income is 3 billion, 200million would really help.
White; danger of folding?
Day; no. we will take whatever steps necessary to prevent that.  we were in a healthy position at start of pandemic, plus staff and supporters been tremendous. can guarantee we will get through it. there will still be a club next year and the season after.

(talked about Fenty support, talked about the season ticket letter and covid19 clause.)

I can't type fast enough to keep up!

Should be available online later, the saturday sport programme on bbc humberside usually is.....

Well why dont they ask Tom Shutes to re-negotiate, ask him to go ahead with the ground, and put money behind the Club. Its all to do with the Freemoaffair and keeping in touch with Fenty. We had a great offer(presumably) from Tom, and its been kicked into touch. Shutes hasnt gone to all this trouble by drawing up plans for a new ground and establishing the Docks as something futuristic, and GTFC just kick him in the b*lls. We had a reputable wealthy person willing to build a futuristic ground, giving us fans what we deserve. Its all about money and keeping Fenty on board with his beloved Council. Sold down the river again, Council first, fans second, end of rant.
