If Daniels played for town, he’d be a hero nowadays, and I think we wish him all the best. I wonder if this will open the floodgates? Let’s be honest, it’s highly likely that every single club has gay players, and they should live in a world where, if they wanted, they could come out without any fear of judgement. I still don’t think we’re there yet, though, but this news is a game changer.

I think we’re all hoping that before too long they won’t need to announce it as hopefully it will make zero difference as to how they are perceived,  both on and off the pitch. The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football'
