Couldn’t go today due to Illness, what happened at the end?

About 25 'Fenty outers' pushed through the plastic tape confining us to just 1/3 of the terrace so that they could spout their pointless chants across to the technical areas. Stewards held them from going further than the goal area. When we were applauding the players at the end, several of these 'fans' booed the team , made w@nker signs at the players and asked why we were 'clapping that excrement?' So we answered with a chorus of MAARRRIIINNEERRS. Credit to a few older fans who said ' We're not avin this!' and went to the front to applaud Matty, Charles, Macca, Ahkeem, Max, Harry etc.
I turned down a free ticket for Man. U v Newcastle today and drove across misty moors to support my team. While they put in the effort, I don't see what else the ordinary fan can do. As usual, a few Boxing Day numpties show their class.

As long as you're happy.

Signed, 'fans'. Who were not happy with 1 point against one of the worst teams I've ever seen. And we were polite towards the stewards, one who told me he understood as he was a Bolton fan. We had no intention of going towards the 'goal area' as you ambiguiously put it. We just wanted to make a point, and I'd suggest others do too. Fenty Out.

The only time i personally think you should boo is when someone genuinely is on the pitch not putting in any effort and is just grabbing a wage and doesn't care about not winning or GTFC (ie i felt that game at Tranmere when one or two players didn't seem to care or put effort in)
From what i read and listen to it sounds like we have a team that do care and are putting the effort in. Are they good enough? Who knows. But it doesn't mean they should be boo'd.

Sounds like the same 20 pr***s who were at the front at Oldham. Bullying and jostling aged or teenage stewards. An absolute embarrassment. Would have paid money to see them hauled out by the lazy coppers, who were only 30 yards away.

Would imagine it is the highlight of their week. One of my lads said "Why do they come to the match, they aren't even watching?"

Agree Luke, they tried today but if we are happy with just effort we will end up losing 5-0 at Braintree on a Tuesday night again. It did happen, don't ever forget what can happen when standards are so low.

We're watching and we are hundred percent Town. Maybe you should demand more? You want me and others who are like me hauled out, banned? Tarred and feathered for having an opinion you don't like and daring to voice that opinion? It isn't good enough. You're okay with it are you?

Booing isn't going to help though is it, I personally would hate to be boo'd from my own fans. I'd lose alll confidence...
The other week i took my team to a place near Bridgwater and they had 100 odd fans watching, 20 odd urine heads. I was playing right back and they kept calling me excrement when i played a ball into the channel until i hit a perfect 30 yard pass to set up my winger who then scored (we won) Anyway, that was quite intimidating but actually it spered me on, whereas if it was my own teams 'fans' I'd lose motivation, especially if I knew I put my all in eacch game which these lads clearly are doing.

Do people boo you at work if you make a mistake or if someone sat opposite you or whatever is doing a better job?

It's time Hessenthaler was relieved of his corners and free kick duties, they are woeful, much better delivery from Robson.
