Grimsby v Cambridge Team News

SWEDE Ludvig Ohman faces a one-match ban and will miss out the visit of Cambridge, after his sending off at Swindon last week. Alex Whitmore is the most likely player to replace the Swede in the back three.

The only other doubt is Martyn Woolford (knock) as Town are expected to make minimal changes after a well-earned point at the County Ground last week.

Struggling Cambridge have several players unavailable with injury and suspension. Defender Jake Carroll (suspended), Villa loan midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes (ankle), 'keepers David Forde (shoulder) and Kevin Pilkington (wrist), and defender Liam O'Neil (hip) are all ruled out.

However, defender Hayden Coulson (back), forward Harrison Dunk (knee) and defender Brad Halliday (calf) are all possible returnees.

Cambridge won the two matches against Grimsby in 2018 but the last 15 games have been very even with 5 wins to each side and 5 draws.
