GRIMSBY TOWN have issued their new squad numbers for the forthcoming season, revealed the Grimsby Sports Telegraph. One of the major changes sees crowd favourite Alan Pouton take over the vacant number seven shirt, whilst Dutch keeper Ronald Ermes replaces Pouton's former 26 shirt.

Despite being released by the club, Richard Smith still holds on to the number five shirt, whilst Handyside's number four shirt awaits the ominous replacement signing. New signing Phil Jevons holds the 21 shirt while Willems is promoted from 29 to 17.

Bradley Allen takes Daryl Clare's 19 shirt and youngster Rowan moves from 23 to 20. Rookie keeper Morgan Cranley occupies the 33 shirt, the very last of the issued squad numbers.
