A very 'Buckley' forward if ever there was one. No surprise me saying that he was small and sometimes useless, but he did have a certain element of skill from time to time. Nogan played very well in the promotion season, getting 12 goals.

Then, after a good start to the next season, Nogan fell to pieces and became a victim of fan's abuse and regular moaning and groaning. Surely one of the funniest things in recent times must have been when he reportedly asked for a pay rise! This was (not surprisingly) rebuffed by Buckley, who let him go on a free and consequently ended up at Darlington in the 3rd division.
