Grimsby Game On Dec 7th Hit by Players Strike.

THE Professional Players Association have called a strike to commence on December 1st and Grimsby Town are one of the early clubs to be affected.

With the players strike called a number of games that were scheduled to be shown on television will not take place if TV cameras are in place.

Grimsby Town players have pledged to support the action and will be among the first teams affected with a televised game against Wolves on December 7th now in doubt.

Although talks have broken down between the FA, Football League and Premier league the PFA are hoping that a settlement can be reached before the proposed strike date.

It appears that the FA are holding back at this time from taking court action as they too hope that a settlement can be reached but the PFA have refused a new offer of 27 million pounds.
