Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

Injury List 20/4

By: Peter Forrester
Date: 20/04/2002

WELL its the last game of the season for me to report on. I have had a great time and so has Mr Paul Mitchell. It was busy quite early in the season and looking critical at one point but thankfully the list has got shorter as the season has gone on until it really only contained Livvo.

Anyway for the last time this season here are the people who are doubtful or are going to miss the curtain closer game at the so-called "intimidating atmosphere" of The New Den.

Simon Ford - told the fancy official site that he won't be available for this Sunday's game. Wonder if he got a note off his mum? I am hoping we get this lad's contract sorted because he is a future captain in my opinion.

John McDermott - The captain is 99% definately out for the last game of the season with a bad knee. With him out and vice captain Galli suspended who is gonna be captain for the day? I reckon Pouton should get it for the day as his season's performances warrant it.

Stuart Campbell - the inconsistency of the Scot has still earned him a call up to the Scotland B squad, however he will be out for the last game of the season so expect to see the next football shirt he wears to be a navy blue one.

Dave Smith - The left back only played a few games all season and with him now being out with a hamstring strain and his age working against him it is unlikely he will be given a new contract so a goodbye to David Smith, you'll be remembered Smudger, especially for that goal against Brentford
