Luntala On Trial

FRENCH midfielder Tresor Luntala has joined Grimsby Town on trial, after having been released by Birmingham City at the end of last season, and failing to be offered a contract by Wolves following a fortnight on trial at Molineux.
Luntala joined Birmingham in summer 1999 from French side Rennes and the 20-year-old made 10 starts for City last season, before falling out of favour at St Andrews.
Last week Grimsby brought former Scunthorpe midfielder Lee Hodges to Blundell Park on trial, but he left after just one day spent training with the squad, deciding he had no realistic chance of being offered terms.
