Question of the Week

Is football a business or a sport?

The Fishyio: 11-Oct

THE injury room is a little quiet now that Livvo has left it, hopefully he won't be back for a long time. Saying that though I won't be paid if the players don't come back. Anyway the players who have been to the medical room this week are:

Paul Groves: a rare visitor of the medical room, the player boss has been through the wars as of late with a tight hamstring but expect the boss to be on the pitch and not on the bench. Graham Rodger is all alone again...everybody....aww.

Steve Chettle: the centre back is still suffering from his back problems. Its unknown whether he will make the Hornet game or not.

Steve Croudson: the youngster is back from Lilleshall and is in the gym lifting those weights, never know he may go above the 10 pound dumbbell, you can do it Steve!!! Expect him back by the end of this month, if he isn't pinned under the dumbbell.

Alan Pouton: or "David Poo-tone" as so called by Lincs FM. I don't get it with Alan's name, no one can get his surname right but to get his first name wrong is just criminal. Anyway the tough tackling midfielder has a slight calf strain but expect him to be on the Vicarage Road pitch.

Well, I dunno why I do predictions but seen as I am making the trek down to my birth place (or near it anyway) I am gonna say 2-0 to the Mariners.
