Pair on Trial

TWO unnamed strikers are set to appear on trial at Blundell Park this weekend. The first, due to arrive on Saturday, could play in the friendly with Boston the same day. The second mystery forward is due for a trial at the club on Monday.
The development is part of Paul Groves' longstanding quest to bring a new striker to Blundell Park. The Town boss needs one final piece of the jigsaw to complete his summer acquisitions and strengthen the squad sufficiently to be able to make a credible attempt to return to Division One at the first reckoning.
