Alan Fettis

Decent well-travelled keeper. Signed on loan for Town by Nicky Law in the final months of the 03/04 season from local rivals Hull City.

An experienced Goalie with Northern Ireland caps and Premiership appearances for Nottingham Forest amongst others. Fettis always flirted with the lower leagues and has played for teams like York City when he could of easily been in the higher tier of the game.

Fettis was very reliable and filled in well for Aidan Davison who was out injured. Hopes of signing him permanently faded when the player joined Macclesfield Town in July 2004. Town, under new boss Russell Slade, got Anthony Williams in his place.

Next Player: Martin Pringle
