Three To Sign - But Who's Out?

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 19/04/2007

WITH this season not over yet, Alan Buckley is already planning for the next one in deciding who he wants to keep and where he needs to strengthen.

With the news that three players are set to sign new contracts later today, and with reports in from scouts, Mr Buckley appears to be moving quickly to consolidate what he has and who he wants to keep after which he will looking to bring in new players to replace those who will not be offered new deals.

According to chairman, John Fenty, Buckley has been allocated his budget and knows what he has to work with.

It seems that Michael Reddy may miss out due to his injuries but he is taking matters into his own hands and planning more surgery. However, he is not ruled out completely, but offering him a new contract is seen as a high risk proposal.

As it is that time of the season again with the fans contacts lurking around petrol pumps and talking to their "people in the know" (like the local dustbin man), the rumours and 'inside information' will be flowing freely.

So who should we let go and who should we offer new contracts too? Who will we be signing? Who was spotted at the petrol pumps? Why is Alex Ferguson interested in Grimsby Town?

Answers on the MB please.
